Connecting K-12 and Higher Ed Conference

The second annual Connecting K-12 and Higher Education Conference will take place April 25-26 at the Kirkwood Regional Center at the University of Iowa. 

This free conference aims to bring together local stakeholders from K-12 education, the University of Iowa, and other educators from the state of Iowa to share knowledge related to student learning, effective teaching, and innovative educational practices. Day one of the event will take place from 4 - 8 p.m. on Friday, April 25. Day two is scheduled from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 26. The conference will include keynote speakers, poster sessions, and multiple opportunities for attendees to connect with and learn from each other. Meals will be provided for registered attendees. 

All University of Iowa faculty, administrators, staff, graduate students, and others in higher education roles related to reaching are invited to complete the interest form for the conference. We also encourage you to share the event with teachers, administrators, counselors, or staff members from K-12 school systems in the area.
