Rocklin Teaching and Learning Speaker Series: Sarah Silverman

With more students identifying as neurodivergent, this session will explore what neurodiversity looks like in the classroom. Participants will engage with case studies and learn about resources for syllabus and assignment design that take a neurodiversity-informed approach.

Sarah Silverman, an educator and independent faculty developer focusing on neurodiversity, disability studies, and instructional design, will be our featured speaker for this year's event.

The Center for Teaching advocates for effective, evidence-based, scholarly teaching and acts as a collaborative partner in sparking and shaping conversations about higher education. Our work ranges from advancing excellence in teaching and learning at an organizational level to supporting pedagogical and professional development for all those who teach.
