Join us for the 2026 Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Institute on Friday, April 10, from 8:30 a.m.-noon. This campus-wide event will feature a keynote address by Dr. James Lang, a nationally recognized expert on teaching and learning and the author of the popular books Write Like You Teach and Small Teaching. The Institute will also include a SoTL poster session and opportunities to connect with colleagues from across campus.
SoTL involves bringing the same curiosity and rigor to your teaching that you apply in your academic discipline, turning your teaching experiences into scholarship and sharing insights with the broader educational community. This Institute offers a space to explore these practices, learn from colleagues, and celebrate the vibrant SoTL projects taking place across our campus.
