The Center for Teaching's Scholarly Teaching Program, a P3-supported strategic plan initiative, is accepting applications for its Fall 2025 cohort. 

The Scholarly Teaching Program offers the opportunity for teaching-focused faculty to participate in an interdisciplinary learning community, explore the literature on evidence-based teaching practices, and attend a teaching conference together to help them plan, implement, and assess impactful teaching practices.  

Participants in the Fall 2025 cohort will receive financial support to travel to the AAC&U Transforming STEM Higher Education Conference in early November 2025. There is no obligation to propose or present, but participants will receive support in developing their materials if they choose to.  

The program is open to all full-time instructors at Iowa for whom teaching is a significant aspect of their responsibilities. Instructional-Track Faculty and Clinical-Track Faculty are encouraged to apply. The deadline to apply is Monday, April 21, 2025.
